What is required to get married on a cruise ship?

Or will the cruise ship take care of it for us?What is required to get married on a cruise ship?
Hi, I think your idea of a wedding on a cruise ship is a great plan!

The requirements vary widely depending upon the cruise ship and the country of registry and many other variables.

Each of the larger cruise lines can handle every aspect of a ship-board wedding or a destination wedding at most ports of call. The best thing to do is to contact the particular cruise line you are considering.

I am attaching a link to the ';celebrations'; site for Princess Cruise Lines so that you can begin to research.

Enjoy the planning! :)

I'm getting married on a cruise ship. If you pay them, they take care of all the food, decorations, the ceremony, drinks, minister, flowers, cake, etc. They have extra services also, I am paying for a pianist, videographer, and photographer.

You have to bring the marriage license on board for them to sign though and you have to get the license yourself before boarding. Carnival Cruise lines is the one I am going with, they are cheap and fun. They have a wedding hotline that you can call and they will answer all your questions. 1 800 933 4968
Cruise ship weddings are wonderful and a perfect way to have all the family and friends attend a beautiful and affordable destination wedding

Carnival seems to do the best job, but you can also check with Princess, NCL and Royal Caribbean
Call the cruise ship 800 number and talk with a representative. Each cruise line offers different packages. They will be able to help you.
a marriage license. then you obviously must have all the identification for you to get on the ship.
